Dental Surgery

When you lose a tooth due to periodontal disease, injury or some other reason, and is replaced, a dental implant helps to hold it in place to make it more secure and comfortable.

After a dental implant placement, your saliva will be red due to bleeding within the mouth and there will be swelling. You can reduce it by placing an ice bag on it. You also need to drink lots of fluids.

After tooth extraction, you will notice a blood clot forming to prevent further bleeding and accelerate the healing process. That is why Dentists recommend biting on a gauze for 30-45 minutes after the extraction.

After the wisdom teeth removal surgery, the area will swell, there will be bruising in the area where the tooth was extracted and the body temperature will increase. To minimize these effects, you need to take prescribed pain medications.
